Creating Your Account

The first step in using Lemat Stock is creating your account and verifying your phone number.

Step 1: Register​

  1. Open the Lemat Stock app on your phone
  2. Tap "Register Now" on the welcome screen
  3. Fill in your details carefully:
    • Full Name - Your complete name
    • Email Address - A valid email you can access
    • Phone Number - Your mobile phone number (for verification and login)
    • Password - Create a strong, secure password
  4. Check the Terms & Conditions checkbox
  5. Tap "Create Account"

:::tip Password Tips Create a strong password that includes:

  • At least 8 characters
  • A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Numbers and special characters
  • Avoid common words or personal information :::

Step 2: Verify Your Phone​

After creating your account, you need to verify your phone number:

  1. Check your SMS - You'll receive a verification code via text message
  2. Enter the code - Type the code into the app
  3. Tap "Continue" - Complete the verification process

:::warning Didn't Receive the Code? If you don't receive the verification code within 2 minutes:

  • Check that you entered your phone number correctly
  • Ensure you have mobile signal
  • Tap "Resend Code" to request a new code
  • Contact support if issues persist :::

✅ Account Created Successfully!​

Once verified, you're ready to set up your store profile and start using Lemat Stock!

What's Next?​

After creating your account, you'll need to:

  1. Set up your store profile - Configure your store type and details
  2. Import product categories - Add the categories your store will carry
  3. Create your first branch - Set up your initial location
  4. Add employees - Invite your team members

Troubleshooting​

Can't Create Account​

If you encounter issues creating your account:

  • "Phone number already exists" - This number is already registered. Try logging in instead or use a different number.
  • "Email already exists" - This email is already registered. Try password reset or use a different email.
  • "Weak password" - Your password doesn't meet security requirements. Make it stronger.
  • "Network error" - Check your internet connection and try again.

Verification Issues​

If verification is not working:

  • Ensure your phone number is correct and includes country code
  • Check that SMS is not blocked on your device
  • Wait a few minutes and try again
  • Contact support for manual verification
