Understanding the Sales Interface

Learn how to view, filter, and manage your sales history effectively.

Accessing Sales

Tap "Sales" at the bottom navigation to access your sales history.

Sales Page Overview

The Sales page is your central hub for viewing all transactions and monitoring sales performance.

Key Components:

  1. Branch Selector (top-left dropdown)
  2. Sales Analytics Widget
  3. Sales List
  4. Search and Filters

Branch Selector

Located at the top-left of the Sales page.

Options:

  • All Branches - See sales from all locations combined
  • Specific Branch - Filter to view one location only

How to Use:

  1. Tap the branch dropdown
  2. Select "All Branches" or choose a specific branch
  3. Sales list updates to show only selected branch(s)

Sales Analytics Widget

Shows key metrics for the selected time period.

Metrics Displayed:

  • Total Revenue - All sales income for the period
  • Items Sold - Total quantity of items sold
  • Date Range - Currently selected time period

Changing Date Range:

Tap the date range selector to choose:

  • Today - Current day only
  • Last 7 Days - Past week
  • Last 30 Days - Past month
  • Last 365 Days - Past year
  • All Time - Since you started using Lemat Stock
  • Custom - Pick specific start and end dates

Sales List

Shows all sales transactions with key information.

Each Sale Card Displays:

  • Customer Name (or "Walk-in" for anonymous customers)
  • Sale Amount - Total transaction value
  • Payment Type - Cash or Credit indicator
  • Date and Time - When the sale occurred
  • Payment Status - Paid or Partial (for loans)
  • Branch Name - Where the sale was made

Sale Type Indicators:

IndicatorMeaning
💰 CASHFull payment received immediately
🏦 CREDITLoan sale with balance due
PaidLoan that has been fully paid off
PartialLoan with remaining balance

Color Coding:

  • Green - Paid in full
  • Yellow - Partial payment on loan
  • Red - Overdue loan payments

Filtering Sales

Find specific sales quickly using filters and search.

Located at the top of the sales list:

  • Search by customer name
  • Search by sale amount
  • Search by receipt number

Payment Type Filter

Filter sales by payment method:

  • All - Show all sales (default)
  • Cash - Only full payment sales
  • Credit - Only loan sales

Date Range Filter

Use the date range selector in the analytics widget to filter by time period.

Advanced Filters

Access more filtering options:

  • Price Range - Filter by transaction amount
  • Profit Margin - Filter by profitability
  • Customer Type - Filter by customer category
  • Employee - Filter by who made the sale

Viewing Sale Details

To see complete information about any sale:

  1. Tap on any sale card in the list
  2. Purchase Detail page opens showing:
    • Complete customer information
    • All items in the sale with quantities and prices
    • Payment information and method
    • Total amount and any remaining balance (for loans)
    • Payment history (for credit sales)
    • Sale status and date

Purchase Detail Actions:

From the detail page, you can:

  • View History - See all changes to this sale
  • Revert Sale - Cancel the transaction and restore stock
  • Restore Sale - Un-cancel a reverted sale
  • Share Receipt - Send receipt to customer
  • Add Payment - Record loan payments (for credit sales)

Understanding Sale Status

Active Sales:

  • Cash (Paid) - Completed cash transaction
  • Credit (Partial) - Loan with balance due
  • Credit (Paid) - Loan fully paid off

Inactive Sales:

  • Reverted - Cancelled transaction with stock restored
  • Shows with special indicator in the list

Sales Performance Metrics

Daily Sales Summary:

At the top of the Sales page, see today's performance:

  • Today's revenue
  • Items sold today
  • Number of transactions
  • Average transaction value

Quick Insights:

  • Best Selling Time - When most sales occur
  • Top Customer - Who buys the most
  • Average Sale Value - Typical transaction amount

Sales List Organization

Sales are organized by:

  1. Most Recent First - Newest sales at the top
  2. Date Sections - Grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, This Week, etc.)
  3. Branch Groups - When viewing all branches, organized by location

Using Sales Data

Monitor Daily Performance:

  1. Check sales each morning using "Today" filter
  2. Compare to yesterday's numbers
  3. Identify trends and patterns

Track Credit Sales:

  1. Filter by "Credit" payment type
  2. Look for overdue indicators (red)
  3. Follow up on partial payments

Customer Analysis:

  1. Tap on any customer's name
  2. View their purchase history
  3. Understand buying patterns

Branch Comparison:

  1. Switch between branches using selector
  2. Compare sales volumes
  3. Identify top-performing locations
