Understanding Your Business Analytics

Now that you're making sales, it's time to understand how your business is performing! This section teaches you to read analytics, understand key metrics, and make data-driven decisions.

Why Analytics Matter

Analytics help you:

  • Track Performance - See how well your business is doing
  • Identify Trends - Spot patterns in sales and customer behavior
  • Make Decisions - Use data to guide business choices
  • Find Opportunities - Discover your best products and branches

Accessing Your Analytics Dashboard

Getting to Analytics:

  1. Tap the "Analytics" tab at the bottom navigation
  2. You'll see the Unified Analytics Dashboard
  3. This is your business command center!

Dashboard Overview:

The analytics page shows everything you need to understand your business performance in one place.

Dashboard Components

Your analytics dashboard includes:

  1. Key Metrics - Essential numbers at a glance
  2. Date Range Filters - View different time periods
  3. Trend Indicators - Compare to previous periods
  4. Performance Sections - Detailed breakdowns by branch, product, and sales

Quick Start Guide

Daily Morning Routine (5 minutes):

  1. Open Analytics tab
  2. Check "Today" metrics:
    • How much revenue so far?
    • How many items sold?
    • Any low stock alerts?
    • Any overdue loans?
  3. Compare to yesterday using trend arrows
  4. Address any red flags

Weekly Review (15 minutes):

  1. Switch to "Last 7 Days"
  2. Review branch performance - which location is doing best?
  3. Check top-selling items - what's moving fast?
  4. Plan restocking based on performance
  5. Follow up on overdue credit accounts

Monthly Analysis (30 minutes):

  1. Use "This Month" or custom range
  2. Compare to previous month
  3. Analyze trends across all metrics
  4. Identify growth opportunities
  5. Plan next month's strategy

  • Tap "View all" in any section for detailed analysis
  • Switch metrics using sort/filter options
  • Tap on items to see more details
